3. Aloe Vera

However, aloe vera is the most effective of the acne remedies. It’s the gel created from the aloe vera plant that creates a soothing and cooling effect on acne. After removing the skin from the aloe vera plant, use cold water to rinse the gel. Apply a portion of the gel directly onto your skin, while avoiding contact with your eyes. If you keep the gel in an airtight container, you can use it for roughly a weekly.

4. Oatmeal

It turns out that oatmeal is useful for more than food. You can also use it as one of the various acne remedies available. Here’s how to use it. Cook one serving of plain oatmeal. After adding roughly a forth of a cup of honey, blend the mixture completely. When it has cooled, apply it to the face while not letting it contact the eye. Allow the mixture to sit on your face for 10-20 minutes. The oatmeal helps to absorb excess oil on your skin, while the honey serves as a natural moisturizer.

5. Nettle Tea

After removing leaves from the nettle plant, discard the stems. Next, pour boiling water atop the leaves and let them sit for five minutes. Add lemon or honey to the tea. The leaves of the nettle plant are anti-inflammatory.
